> Flashing Belly Rings
If you want to really grab everyone’s attention, try out some flashing
belly rings. These neat little numbers can flash bright colors that
will light up the night with your sexy, flat belly the next time
you’re out and about for the evening.
Flashing belly rings first became popular
at raves; the same place light sticks and glow jewelry were
popularized. Soon they were showing up at dances and parties
everywhere.
Flashing belly rings
are most common in a red, green and yellow color sequence or some
combination of those colors, but you can also find green and blue
quite often or occasionally blue and white. Of course, if you are
wanting to get noticed, the brighter the colors of your flashing belly
ring the better!
Flashing belly rings
are made of surgical grade stainless steel because of the need for a
durable material that can work well with the materials needed for the
battery and tiny electrical components needed for the lights to work
(these are housed inside the larger ball of the belly button ring).
Most flashing belly rings use a standard watch battery that will
operate for up to 48 hours, which will keep you flashing and looking
good through several raves or hot dates. A simple half-twist of the
top will deactivate the battery so that you don’t run it down when
your aren’t wearing it.
Lately some more unusually flashing belly rings have been seen,
including the flashing koosh ball, which glows eerily in two different
flashing colors such as red and green behind the plastic koosh
spikes. These operate just like any of the other flashing belly
rings, and use the same type of LED lighting system run with watch
batteries. As the popularity of flashing belly rings increases, we’re
sure to see the continued design of newer and more elaborate ways to
“light up the night” with your belly rings!
